Polio Survivors & Associates

PSA is a Rotarian Action Group dedicated to the humanitarian assistance of polio survivors. PSA is a logical extension of Rotary’s concern for the health needs of the world and serves as the living legacy of the worldwide PolioPlus program to eradicate polio. This Action Group operates in accordance with Rotary International policy, but is not controlled by Rotary.

Post-Polio Directory is an extensive listing of self-identified groups and individuals knowledgeable about the late effects of polio. Compiled by Post-Polio Health International (PHI), the Directory is divided into three major sections - post-polio clinics, health professionals and post-polio organizations and support groups. International resources are listed first in alphabetical order by country, followed by the United States, listed in alphabetical order by state.

PTU - Danish Society of Polio and Accident Victims/ Landsforeningen af Polio-, Trafik- og Ulykkesskadede

The Danish Society of Polio and Accident Victims works for the integration and equal opportunities of people suffering mobility disabilities as a result of polio, injuries to the spinal cord, whiplash and other injuries resulting from traffic and other accidents. Denmark is a small Scandinavian Country with no more than 5.5 million inhabitants. There are about 12,000 polio survivors; many are members of The Danish Society of Polio and Accident Victims - PTU.
